Celebrities dying in 2011.

2011. A year that is about to end. A year that gave birth to big films like Bodyguard, Ready, Ra.One and Singham. A year that gave birth to classic films like ZNMD, The Dirty Picture, Rockstar, Stanley Ka Dabba, No One Killed Jessica and of course, Tanu Weds Manu. The year gave many films grossing above 50 crore and thus, proved to be best year in recent past.

Although, the year, when it gave birth to films, took away lives of some living legends. To start with, I would like to name the BIG

Shammi Kapoor:-

Yeah, he was a legend. A legend hose last film released after his death. A legend who worked in films at age on 78. He was 79 when he breathed his last. His life ended on 14th August 2011. He belonged to the first family of bollywood. The Kapoors. His films presented him as a fun-loving actor. He was better known for his "yahoo!" image.

Jagjit Singh:-

The Ghazal king, as they call him! I won't use the word called. he is still the Ghazal King whose place is vacant. He breathed his last on 10th October 2011 when he was 70. he brought a revolution in cinema with him. He was a genius whose place always shall remain vacant. "Vo khat ke phurze uda raha tha!"


Mansur Ali Khan Pataudi:-

Although he directly had no contact with Bollywood, but his family is in this industry. Be it his wife Sharmila Tagore (No. 1 actress of her time.), Saif Ali Khan or Soha Ali Khan (Children). He died when he was 70. The bad day was 22th September 2011.

Devanand:-

The king himself! The real king of Indian film industry! He worked more than 65 years in film industry. He first film released in 1945 and last in 2011. A month before his death! He was 88 and died on 4th December 2011. His dedication was great in the industry. A great life saw it's end this year..:(
