This year, we got many good films to see in cinemas. Among them , a few movies managed to earn beyond the expectation. Here is the list.
5) Yamla Pagla Deewana:-
Yeah! This film was totally unexpected to be in this list. It had no elements of being a successful film, trailers apart! The film managed to gross about 58 Crores which is very very high as per expectation. The film was intended to re-launch Bobby Deol but the try failed and the film ran due to the father-son trio. The film's business was purely unexpected at boxoffice.
4) Mujhse Fraaanship Karoge:-
Heard the name? Yeah may be! It was a Yashraj banner film. The film was launched under banner Y Films which is a part of Yashraj films. The house made another film Luv ka the end ehich proved to be a flop while this one, having the popular topic, ran well and earned about 3 crores nett. (Budget was not even 1 crore)
3) F.A.L.T.U:-
As the name suggests, the film was Faltu. But due to good publicity and because of having the youth topic, it performed well and earned quite well. The film, looking at its content was thought to be a flop, but it effected the gross of Thank You, which released just a week after F.A.LT.U (8th April).
2) The Dirty Picture:-
Surprised! You thought this one to be hit? Well, if yes, the film was undoubtedly expected to be a hit because of Vidya Balan . But it earned about 70 crores which is too high for a film that is purely based on the actress to earn. This film became a super hit. Which is too much!
1) Tanu Weds Manu:-
Obvioulsy, it came out to be best film in our poll! The film was never expected to gross 30 crores. It came and it did magics! The film would surely be nominated for best film of the year. Wait and watch!
